Question by Tink: Any bottled Salad dressings that are gluten free?
I need to bring a salad to a party hosted by family with several members that have celiac…
But I can’t get a hold of anyone right now, can ya help me out here?

Ken’s Steak House Salad Dressing 1/09 They provide a list of their GF products on their website. Also includes Sweet Baby Ray’s Barbecue Sauce, which are all GF.
Kraft 1/09 Kraft is one of the companies that say they will state in their ingredient list if a gluten ingredient is present in the product. Read their statement.

Kraft is a very good company when it comes to labeling.
If the ingredients dont have wheat,barley, rye, or oats, it is safe. Kraft will not hide gluten in “natural flavors”
Another option we are used to is just bringing two jars, one with oil anf the other vinegar. No malt vinegar though. That is the safest and your celiac family members will feel safe to eat the salad
Yes, Get a bottle of good extra virgin olive oil ande get a bottle of good balsamic vinegar and have the folks mix them accordding to their own preference.

Last bottle of Hellman’s mayo i bought was gluten free – even the light (which I generally use). In fact, there’s no need for gluten to be put in salad dressing, so you just double check the labels, but most should be fine – but watch for the thicker varieties, as they may be thickened with modified starch, and just keep an eye out for malt in the ingredients as well, though I have no idea why it would be added – but you can never be too careful – Check The Label of Every Pack Every Time You Buy and you will be safe.
Wouldn’t most be gluten free? I don’t think many contain any type of grain product in them. All you have to do is read the ingredients labels. If there are any type of grain products listed… then it’s not gluten free. I only make my own dressings (NEVER any gluten product in any of them), but I have purchases bottled dressengs in the past. I’ve found Newman’s Own and Ken’s to be a few of the better ones.
