Everyone now wants everything to be gluten free.What’s bad about gluten and why don’t we want it?

Gluten increases the amount of free radicals in the body. Free radicals will destroy healthy tissue. (this is why antioxidants are a good thing).

gluten is neither good nor evil. It is simply a naturally occurring complex protein found in all forms of wheat and certain other grains such as rye, barley, and oats.

gluten is only bad for those who have an allergy to it. Like allergy to peanuts it is very very uncomfortable for these people.

It is the “disease of the year” for a lot of people! They are not allergic to gluten, but think it is cool to say so.

There are some people that can’t handle eating gluten. Some people have a hard time digesting it and feel bloated after they eat it.

Gluten is not bad in general. But gluten is a protein some people are allergic to. It’s the same like strawberries – they are not bad in general but some people are allergic to.
